“On 19 January, within the Erasmus+ project DigiS, a practical lesson on piloting unmanned aerial vehicles took place at the Ogre Technical School.
The lesson was conducted by Kārlis Linde, representative of Latvia’s State Forests, UAV Operations Manager. He shared his knowledge on UAV operation, obtaining the necessary permits for piloting, and gave a practical demonstration of UAV operation.
The students of the Technical School also had the opportunity to try their hand at piloting an unmanned aerial vehicle, which gave them more insight into the process.
