Evaluation, sharing experience and good practices and quality management

THE AIM is to evaluate results and impact of the project activities, in particular the pilots, and to share experience and good practices among partners.
Examples of good practices will be sought not only in the implementation of the new curricula (WP3), but also in the related activities in the WP2, WP4 and WP5. Arrangements will take place aiming at integrating the best identified practices into the project planning, dissemination and exploitation (after the project end), thus enhancing the quality and impact of the project results.
From a viewpoint of the global project objective, the project partners will face three main challenges:
- Attaining recognition of the new qualifications in as many partner and other EU countries as possible
- Motivating a growing number of VET providers, not participating in this project, to pilot the new curricula in their schools. Developing tools and environment supporting the new VET programs large scale implementation.
- Motivating students to enrol in the new VET programs, achieving the best learning results possible and acquiring the skills missing on the market prior to the project start.
The evaluation strategy will therefore focus on monitoring of achievements in the following three key areas:
Step 1 – Evaluating the efficiency of national process of a new qualification identification and registration
Based on the description of the national process of qualification recognition developed in the work package 6 (step 4), the work package leader will analyse the national procedures and methodologies leading to recognition of a new or updated occupational qualification. Good practices will be identified and final recommendations of the measures aiming at improving of national qualification systems will be written up.
Step 2 – Evaluating barriers to EU- and nation-wide roll out of the new VET programs
During the pilot phase of the project, CCIs partners and ECECE (AT), in cooperation with VET providers, will draft an analysis of barriers limiting the speed, scale and efficiency of the new curricula roll out in the addressed fields.
Policy recommendations to decision makers at different levels of the government will be summed up in the conclusions.
Step 3 – Evaluating the quality of newly designed VET programs:
The work package leader develops an evaluation methodology of the project activities and results (outputs and outcomes).
Once the pilot phase, the 2nd international workshop and the final graduate exams in all partner countries are completed, CCIs and the Czech VR Agency with cooperation TC (CZ) and ECECE (AT) gathers all the intelligence available such as statistics from the online course platform, feedback from participants, results from final graduate exams, etc. and draft national reports evaluating the project impact at the national level.
Cross-country evaluation report will be created by the work package leader CCI Terrassa (SP), based on the country reports received from CCIs and the ECECE (AT).
