It s been a while since the moment we put this project together. There was no pandemics or no war crisis (at least not big one). When we were doing preliminary research on the use of drones we were granted with results such as charting in geography, agricultural devices or simply fun and hobby use.
However we are in a completely different situation these days. We are almost two months into an armed conflict raging in Ukraine and use of drones or rather unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) has changed radically. More often than not we can read the news of UAVs flying for army purposes even killing people.
It’s time to think for which purposes we want to use the UAVs the most? Is their future in combat, killing and army operations? Or do we intend to use their potential for less violent purposes?
